Additional Terk AF-9330 AM/FM Indoor Amplified Tower Antenna Information
|
One of the world's most popular and recognizable antennas, AM/FM Tower (AF-9330) features a built-in amplifier that can be adjusted to the optimum level to strengthen weaker or distant stations, without over-boosting stronger or closer stations. The high-performance, high value AM/FM Tower is actually two antennas in one - it can function either as an omnidirectional antenna for great reception from all directions, or as a directional antenna to zero in on distant or weak stations.Exclusive Air Coil technology isolates AM and FM antenna elements from each other for increased selectivity with greatly reduced static and noise. AM/FM Tower features a non-skid base, which keeps antenna in place during adjustment.

What Customers Say About Terk AF-9330 AM/FM Indoor Amplified Tower Antenna:

As other reviewers have discussed here, this thing is absolutely worthless. Junk, pure and simple.
As someone else stated, this antenna is worse on FM than a cheap twin wire dipole. Waste of money. Wish I would have read the reviews first. A local and powerful FM station that I can get just fine in my basement with a shower radio, would not come in on my upstairs stereo with this antenna.
I had this for over a year and it is useless.you'd be better off just using speaker wire.
Was very disappointed. I saw no increase in signal strength or ability to get stations that I couldn't pick up with just a peice of wire. Have gone back to my piece of wire.at least that didn't have to be plugged in to a wall socket.
I bought it to specifically pull in an AM station and I got better reception from the cheap little loop antenna that came with the stereo. It's going back to the store tomorrow. Don't buy this. Adjusting the gain dial did nothing.
